I think it is a good idea to have your most challenging student serve as an important teacher assistant. This student's added responsibilities help to keep him or her on task and in return will help everything run more smoothly.
I like the idea of class beginning with a little bit of "physical exercise". I always have students that struggle with going to sleep. Perhaps this would help get the blood pumping.

ReplyDeleteI like the idea of magazine subscriptions for the classroom that are from a variety of cultures. These would be good for "ALL" students.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree that "we" should provide positive, sucessful, black and hispanic role models from out community to our students.
